Here is my self-introduction, my name is xx, born in 1976 in a small fishing village beside the Yangzi river where my parents\' and other working people teach me to establish myself on the principles of hard working and optimism.and now I am a lecturer at xx University.
When I was in junior middle school or senior middle school, I have a great interest in geography and computer science.Although the interest I had in computer science at that time is just out of interest itself without knowing much more about it rather than the name, this interest played an important role in shaping myself up to today.Therefore, after entering USTC (university of science and technology of China), I chose computer science as my major and became a computer teacher at a secondary specialized school after graduation from there.Cartography and Geographic Information System is what I studied for the three years for my master degree, during which I was one of the team members of the projects held by my supervisor, mainly engaging in the research of integrated algorithm GIS model library, also having a hand in the research of remote sensing at the same time.My studying experience in the two fields has greatly enlarged my academic horizon and helped me to lay a firm and broad profeional foundation for studies in the future, providing me with great convertibility and the ability to cope with the complex situations in the studies.
After obtainment of master degree, I have been a teacher at xx University for three and a half years.During this a couple of years, I have presided over a number of research projects, among which one is supported provincially and other three at the university level.I have also published five papers independently or with my name as the leading figure in a series of journals such as Areal Research and Development.What is more, I have carried out the teaching of five courses concerning the curriculum of programming.At the same time, as the leading instructor of the college student team of component-based development, the working experience offers me an opportunity to enrich my accumulation in certain fields.
I fully know what i presented above is far from your demand, however, i will not quit.If i can accomplish my dream today to be admitted as one student under your supervision, i swear that i shall spare no effort to do something here.Finally, because i have done some work about temporal GIS and population GIS in the past years, i wonder whether i can do a research exploring into Radio Frequency Identification, temporal GIS and dynamics of system by combining my personal academic background.That\'s all for my self-introduction.Thank you!
