Shanghai Expo is the first comprehensive World Expo held in a developing country.And it is also the first one that takes “the city” as its theme, hoping that it can push forward the city development and help bring about a better urban living environment, just like the theme: better city, better life.
I think, as a student in Shanghai, we should learn to be a gentle person and keep good manners from now on.And try to practice English more in order to communicate with foreigners fluently in the near future.Because, we’re a part of Shanghai!

Be polite
We all know The World Expo is coming soon.What should we do as a student of Shanghai? The first ,study English hard.Millions of foreigners will visit Shanghai during 2010 World Expo.So we must study the international language harder.
The second,be polite.Do it from little things.We have a lot of rules around us.So we must obey them,for example we must not make any noise in public.We must not leave rubbish.We must not eat or drink in many places ,too.If you see someone is polluting our city,you must stop them and tell them not to do it.
We should say “Thank you”,when someone helps us.When someone paes you something on the table ,when someone says you have done your work well,or your city is very beautiful.“Thank you” is used not only between friends.
“Excuse me” is another short sentence we use.When you want to speak to someone,say”Excuse me” first,and then begin talking.You should also do that when you begin to cough.Let’s learn to say “Thank you”and “Excuse me”.It is a very good habit.We must be polite and to welcome The World Expo!
