Forrest Gump
With a floating feather throughout the whole proce, the movie told us about a dumb but persistent and loyal boy, Forrest Gump.The floating feather was the most impreive scene of my memory, for it was always flowing with the wind without direction, just like our lives.For most of our lives, we could not find the reason for doing certain things, just like Gump did.However, we were le persistent than him because we easily gave them up for lack of reasons.As a matter of fact, life is just like the floating feather, and we sometimes have to drift with the current without direction, tediously and absentmindedly, driving us to boredom.Forrest Gump told us to control the direction by ourselves through his own experience.He has proved that the only thing needed is to do your best.The harder you try, the higher you are going to reach, and the more you are going to get.I believe that Gump’s succe was not an exception.
Forrest was a poor boy with a low I.Q.of only 75 and the muscle problem.He was also an obedient boy that he remembered mom’s words deep in his heart.Whenever he talked about his theory, he always added the words “mama said”.Mama said: Life was like a box of chocolates.You never know what you\'re going to get.
Mama said: You\'re the same as everybody else.You are no different.
Mama said: It’s something we’re all destined to do.I didn’t know, but I was destined to be your mama.I did the best I could.”
Forrest kept all the words in mind, and did his best for all the things.He said, stupid is as stupid does, and that was what he did.Forrest achieved a lot more than any normal people may dream of.He became a college student because he could run very fast and was recruited in the college football team.He did not know the real meaning of running and competition, but he just kept running, for he believed he was destined to run.It was his faith that survived him the Vietnam War, along with his friendship and fame.
Sometimes we have to acknowledge that everything returns as long as you
simply stick to your faith.Forrest was no clever than anyone else, but he lit up his life due to the outstanding qualities.He was a loyal one that he risked his life to rescue his companion in the Vietnam War; he was a faithful one that he helped the companion realize his last wish to buy a shrimp boats, which won him a huge fortune by accident; he was a persistent one that he ran over the entire America for nearly three years after Jenny’s death; he was a friendly one that he helped the lieutenant build the confidence to live ahead as a handicap.
Throughout Forrest’s whole life, there were little friends around him, only mom and Jenny.He was live abound laugh and deriding, and he did not know the true
meaning of life.However, he never gave up his faith and understood how to believe in faith.In spite of his low IQ, we’ve read loyalty, faithfulne, persistence and
friendline in him.These features are the most shining qualities of a person, and it is them that brought him fame, fortune and love.
