一份企业简介，除概要性地介绍企业的情况外，对其产品也做了简略的宣传。从文体上看，企业简介是说明书的一种，属于外贸应用文文体。从语篇类型上看，它属于信息股东类语篇，起着宣传介绍的功能。预期译文功能是在译语语境中，使译文读者对该公司及所生产的产品留下深刻印象，最终达到促其购买产品的目的。所以，企业简介不同于一般的说明书，具有自己的语言特点：
