湖南永昌畜牧生态养殖有限公司（以下简称“公司”）成立于2010年3月，是湖南大康牧业股份有限公司（以下简称“大康牧业”）的全资子公司。公司注册资本8700万元，主营业务为种猪、育肥猪、肉产品加工以及饲料的生产和销售。
Hunan Yongchang animal husbandry and ecological farming Ltd.Co., which is founded in March 2010 with registered capital of RMB 87 million , is wholly owned subsidiary of Hunan Dakang pasture farming Ltd.Co.The company specialize in pig breeding, pig finishing, meat product proceing , feed proceing and sales.公司的第一个原种场位于以“碧波万顷、浩无涯际”而闻名天下的八百里洞庭湖畔--西洞庭管理区。该场于2010年7月开工，投资3000万元，于2011年11月正式竣工生产。全场占地面积110亩，现有猪舍21栋，栏舍面积18000m2。
The first pig breeding farm of Yongchang company is located by the well-known lake of \"Dong ting\" in \"Xi dongting\" administration zone.Starting from July 2010, the construction of the farm completed in November 2011, with an investment of RMB 30 million.The farm covers an area of 110 mu , holding 21 pig houses with an total area of 18000m2.公司于2011年9月花巨资从英国JSR公司引进曾祖代原种猪近300头，是湖南省第一家引进英系种猪的养殖企业。预计到2012年底公司核心原种母猪存栏达到1500头，年出栏种猪30000头的饲养规模。目前公司正在积极申报国家级原种猪场。

目前公司现有员工60人，具有大专以上学历的有23人，其中硕士研究生6人。公司致力于品种改良工作，并与湖南农大等全国多所大学建立技术合作关系，是湖南农大的定点教学基地。现由湖南农大柳小春教授担任公司首席育种专家，并与多名育种教授和博士组建了“永昌育种工作团队”，严格按照育种标准流程进行硬件配套及完整的测定数据采集与分析。预计到2013年每年可完成2000头以上的种猪测定。计划于2015年入选国家生猪核心育种场，并培育出自己的优良种猪品系，打造种猪自主品牌，提高企业核心竞争力。
Yongchang company owns 60 employees, 23 of them hold Junior college degree or above, and 6 of them hold master degree.Being teaching base of Hunan agriculture university, our company is working on pig breeding improvement and has established cooperative relationship with Hunan agriculture university and numbers of other colleges nationwide.Company\'s chief pig-breeding expert, profeor Liu xiaochun from Hunan agriculture university, along with profeors and doctors in the same university, have formed \"Yongchang breeding working group\" , of which the direction is to giving advice on facility equipments selection and acquisition and analysis of whole pig testing data strictly according pig-breeding proce and standard.We predict that the testing of more than 2000 breeding pigs will be done per year since 2013.Our target is to become National Core Pig Breeding Farm by 2015, building our own brand with breeding pig line in good performance, and improving the core competitivene of our company.
