Now we are on the way to the Dabie Mountain National Forest Park.At first, I would like to outline the general picture of this Mountain.Located in the north part of Huanggang city, The Dabie Mountain is the watershed of the Yangtzi river and Huaihe river.Also, it is near to the dividing line between the north and south of China, At here, the winter and summer are short and the spring and autumn are long.The rainfall is plentiful and the climate is delightful in all seasons here.
What\'s more.Dabie Mountain has a very important revolutionary history in China.After 1927, Dabie Mountain became one of the important bases where the Communist Party of China developped arms. During the period of the liberation was Liu\'s and Deng\'s Army drove to Dabie Mountain and joined, the local red revolutionary, made important contributions to China\'s revolution.large quantities of excellent leaders of the communist party came from Dabie Mountain.No matter how the history changed, the courage and intelligence ,people of the Dabie Mountain showed in those hard years ,were heroic and moving .so the green scenery and red history of the Dabie Mountain makes it meaningful constracting with other mountains.
The Dabie Mountain National Forest Park is a neuly exploited scenery tourist zone and almost 85% area covered by forest.It is well know for the beautiful scenery and various species, rare plants and animals, oriental drugs and delicious fruits.
Now we’ve come to The Dabie Mountain National Forest Park.Frist, we are at the Bodao Peak of Dabie Mountain.locating on the west of the main peak of Dabie Mountain,Bodao peak is made up of several mountains\' peak, in which the highest peak is 1,404 meters high.Seen at distance , Bodao Peak looks like a thin blade, in Chinese ,bodao means thin blade ,so that’s how it is named Bodao Peak.Bodao peak ,where peaks are dangerous ,rocks are steep ,chine are old and waterfalls are giant ,when we look at it from afar, we can enjoy range upon range, sheer cliffs, path in the clouds, waterfalls hanging in the sky,birds\' singing and flowers\' fragrance.All of these charming sights have a strong attention to visitors.
Then, we come to Heaven stockaded village.The Heaven stockaded village is the main peak of Dabie Mountain.It is 1,792 meters high so known as\"the first peak in the central plain\".Heaven stockaded village is famous for its steep mountains ,peaceful valley and clean water .When we climb up to the main peak and look around, we will find ten tousands of mountains embracing each other.how marvelous !by the way , the Heaven stockaded village has now developped into the Heaven Forest Park.
On the west side of the main peak, we can see big or small scenic spots everywhere, among them the Monk\'s Head is very attractive.When we close to the park\'s administration office, we can see a sheer cliff and it is a few hundred meters high.Just like a smiling monk with a big stomach.
After enjoying the Monk\'s Head, we will visit the Peak of Picking Stars.On the both sidel of this peak is the bottomle chasm.And on the ridge grous many thousand-year-old pines.Only a stone path lead to the peak.There are a few of huge rocks standing seprately on the peak, it seems that they flew here from far, far away.So it looks very dangerous.
On the northeast of the Peak of Picking Stars is the Cliff of Swallow, this cliff is quite different from other places, countle swallows come here together at the time between spring and summer, and fly over mountains and forests, resting in the crevices of the cliffs.
There is an old saying which goes\"the benevolent likes mountains and the wise like the waters\".We can not only enjoy the mystery of mountains, but also can appreciate the charm of elegant waters.
Now we’ve come to the last scenic spots of The Dabie Mountain – the heaven lake.No one will forget the heaven lake if he’s ever been to The Dabie Mountain.The heaven lake lies between the jiuzi river towns and dadi basin .it’s an antificial lake ,about 5 km long .seen at a distance ,the whole lake looks like a huge mirror lying in the bodao mountains and also a silver ribbon flying among the mountains ,forming a landscape painting in which lakes reflect mountains ,clouds around mist and cottages here and there .soft wind breezes ,green water flows and traveler boats ferry tourists busily ,birds flying down towards the lake in which fish plays happily with shrimp .you can see the trace of life everywhere .
