Having studied the findings of the survey of British teenagers, I find many Chinese teenagers share similar concerns.The top three concerns for us are copying homework, cooperation and peer preure.
With a lot of homework to do, some students have formed the habit of copying others’.Such dishonest behaviors indicate students are cheating teachers and parents, which will do great harm to their future.
As is known to all, our society is full of competitions, but cooperation is much more important.As the old saying goes, “Two head are better than one”.Learning how to cooperate with others is one of the keys to succe.
Teenagers suffer from peer preure a lot.There’s no denying the fact that they compete with each other fiercely mainly in their studies to win the appreciation of both parents and teachers; however, that is harmful for their mental and physical health.
Though these concerns are serious, I firmly believe that they will be handled well with our efforts.

Personally speaking, I prefer International House of English to Modern English Center.What draws my attention first is that it provides us with free sightseeing and social activities.As the saying goes, “Knowledge begins with practice.” It is important for us to put what have learnt into use.Social activities offer us a chance to develop our speaking skills.
Furthermore, well-trained Chinese and foreign teachers who are equipped with much experience in teaching English as a second language will benefit us a lot.We can easily turn to teachers whenever faced with difficulties in learning.
Since I will be a senior three students, time is so limited.Four-week programme is more reasonable to be taken.Generally speaking, studying in the morning is much better than in the evening, which makes me choose the second advertisement because its course begins at 8.am.
In a word, International House of English seems much suitable for me.However, what plays an important role in English learning is not what you enter but the efforts you make.

I felt honored to talk about my learning experience here.Since I’m doing best in
English among all, I’d like share with all of the clamates present on how to learn it effectively to a great extent.
First, speaking is to the language what food is to the body.It’s widely acknowledged that speaking as much English as poible may help to develop a sense of language.Under the circumstances, we should apply what we have learnt in our English claes to our daily
conversations.As the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.” We are sure to be good at English in the long run.
In addition to speaking it frequently, persevering in reading is also of great
importance, that is, reading books in the original broadens our horizons by showing us how 26
English letters can be joined into such a brilliant masterpiece.What we gain is not only many a grammar use but also a warm feeling of the charm of literature.
In conclusion, learning English well isn’t a difficult task as long as you have a
long-term goal and chase after it.Inacceible as it seems, just hold the belief to make a difference!

I felt very happy today when my teacher asked me to be in charge of a wall newspaper for my cla.I consider it an honour and a challenge, an honour because my teacher has confidence in my ability, and a challenge because editing a wall newspaper is totally a new experience to me.
As a wall newspaper consists of both content and design, I plan to divide the whole cla into two groups: one dealing with writing and the other dealing with designing.To make the wall newspaper informative, interesting and educational, I will get the writing group to collect the latest science reports as well as human interest stories and rewrite them in simple words.I want to make sure that each and every article in the wall newspaper is fun and easy to read.I will also get the designing group to come up with a layout that is vivid and eye-catching.For this purpose, I will use more pictures than words.I believe a wall newspaper designed in such a way should meet my teacher’s expectation.

With the College Entrance Examinationsapproaching, the days I am looking forward to are also drawing near.It’s high time that I should enjoy the summer holiday to the full .Of course, I have mapped out some plans so that I can make full use of the holiday.My plans can be listed as follows.
To begin with, I plan to read some claics so that I can make up for the lack of knowledge in literature.By reading claics, not only can I broaden my horizons, but also I can enjoy the beauty in them.What’s more, I can lay a solid foundation for my future study in college.In addition, as a farmer’s son, I should help my parents do farming.In this way, I can apply my book knowledge to practice.Furthermore, I can gain working experience and cultivate a spirit of diligence and

家庭作业过多影响睡眠，对健康不利，对学习也无益。
Every teacher tells us to study hard to get ready for the college entrance examination.And we do a lot of work, especially when we are in Grade Three.It seems that we have been cut off from the world.We don’t have any entertainment at school.All we have is nothing but endle homework.
I don’t think too much homework is good.Many of my friends work late into the night.Some of us have to work until eleven or twelve o’clock but we still have to be at school before seven thirty the next morning.We lack sleep, which often makes us feel sleepy during the day.Some of us can’t focus our attention on the leons.I’m afraid our health will fail that way.Besides, too much homework can’t improve our study.It can only make the matter worse.We need time to think and to digest what is learned in cla.Endle homework can only limit our imagination.We do our homework just like a robot.
I hate endle homework.There is a saying, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.I hope our teachers can understand this and relieve us of too much homework.
