Good morning, teachers and profeors.It’s a fine day today.I’m very pleased to be here for today’s interview, and I hope I can make a good performance today.
First of all, please let me introduce myself to you.My name is Chengjie, a student comes from Cla 2 Grade in 2007.My major is mechanical engineering and automation.My profeional direction is machinery manufacturing.During my past 3 years’ study, I spent most of my time on study; I have built a solid foundation of profeional knowledge, as well as a rich experience of social activities.For example, I won awards in Science and Technology Culture Festival in our university this year, and got the second prize in the Mathematical Modeling Competition at School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering last year.This summer, I took practice in some factories of LuoYang.It enhances the major knowledge and the understanding of the textbooks’ knowledge.Personally, I’m a determined person, always willing to achieve higher goals.In addition, I’m humorous and easy-going, enjoying a good relationship among my clamates.In my spare time, I like to read profeional books regarding how to deal with problems.As for my sport interest, I could not deny my great interest is basketball.Playing this game brings me a lot of glory, paion and happine.You can make a perfect shoot, which is only by cooperation through 5 people.By the way, this summer my cla won the third prize at the Mechanical & Electrical Cup among 56 teams in our faculty.That’s my pride.Through college life, I have learned how to balance between study and entertainment.
Secondly, I want to talk about is why do I want to read a master after graduation.Although I have broad views in many aspects and grasp the eential knowledge of
the major, I think at present, I can only do many things in a superficial level, but not be competent to do things profeionally owing to lack of ample knowledge and ability.So I think further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value better.The major that I hope pursue for my further education is machinery manufacturing.Because I find it is playing a more and more important role in our modern country.We are living in a world full of “made in China”.And nowadays in China, with the recognition by the government, our domestic manufacturing industry is growing rapidly and that may provide a lot of chances for us.Life is precious.It is neceary to seize any chance for self-development, especially in this competitive modern world.
At last, CUMT, my alma mater, with a highly qualified faculty and strong academic environment is the university I have long admired.It also has many best teachers like you sitting in the room.I believe I can contribute to the enrichment or diversity of our university.In a word, I am looking forward to making a solid foundation for future profeion after 2 or 3 years study at our university.
