网络教学的不足表现在：由于学生的年龄特征、知识基础及认知能力等等限制，学习上缺乏自觉性与自制力，加上不懂得应该学习些什么和怎样去学习，所以在广袤无垠网络里如果没有教师的启迪与引导，很难自主地去进行学习。虽然使用计算机可以模拟一些实验过程，但它不可能让学生真正形成实践能力。
