Hello,my name is Christine.Today I’d like to talk about Chinese traditional culture.Why I emphasized “traditional”, nowadays ,Chinese culture combined with western culture.Though I like western culture as well, I don’t think it’s a good thing for these two cultures. For starters, I’d like to talk about beliefs.As we all know, Confucian Thought.But I want to talk about Laozi, for the reason that I like him better.But there is no denying that Confucian Thought is the core of Chinese beliefs.“Naturalne” is an important concept of Laozi\'s philosophy.It refers to a natural state of being, an attitude of following the way of nature.Laozi emphasized that everything in the world has its own way of being and development.And another important concept is non-action.It is the guarantee of “naturalne.” And in Han Dynasty the emperor used this theory to rule the people. Second, I want to introduce Chinese painting.Chinese painting has three categories: figure landscape and flowers and bird.Figure painting to character depicting lifelike lively and vivid.Chinese landscape painting is the Chinese emotion most heavy precipitation.And flowers and birds painting depicted flowers and birds. Third, one thing we drink it every day—tea.Referring to Chinese tea, it can be traced back to the ancient times, and it was flourished in the Tang dynasty and the Song dynasty.Chinese tea culture has a long profound history, not only containing the material and cultural level, also containing a deep spiritual level.The spirit of tea permeates the court and society, into the Chinese poetry, painting, calligraphy, religion, medicine. As a consequence, Chinese culture have had a far-reaching impact to South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Asia countries .The result is recognized by the World Bank to Chinese culture as the core of the East Asian cultural circle.And as a Chinese, I hope I can learn Chinese culture more.
