Personal Statement
M y name is XX, or you can call my English name China.I love my home city, it a beautiful seashore city which shares the high economic growth in South China.I was born in a happy family.My parents, my brother and I love each other very much.
I am now studying at Shenzhen XXX School, senior department.Ever since I entered junior high school, I was good at the basic subjects as Science, Math and English.Every time I am the most active student to answer the teacher’s question at cla.Every term I make progre in my study.What’s more, my computer skill is the best in my cla.In the year of 2006-2007 I was awarded the Computer Star of my school.My parents were always proud of me because I often brought home many certificates of honors.Every year I am awarded the “Three-Good” Student.I also take part in many activities.In 2006 I acted as Bailiff in the activity of Simulation Court, because of my excellent performance I was awarded the Excellent Bailiff.I am so happy about this prize as being a police is always my dream.
Besides study, I would also like to mention my great interests in the field of sports.As for sports, I like swimming, ping-pong, tennis and basketball.During every summer or winter vacation, I am always busy playing the basketball team with my friends.Actually, I am always the best player among them.I often practiced basketball very hard.From these activities I learn the spirit of sports: once you decide to do something, just try your best to do it and nothing is impoible for you to achieve.As long as you believe yourself, succe will come to you at last.
My elder brother Tom is now studying in Newman School in America.His English improved a lot after study in America.He introduces the America
education and culture to me.I wish I can study in the United States too.
Because I believe study in the United States will help me to be more
independent.I can make friends with others from all over the world.And I will know that it is not easy for people to make a living.If I am lucky to
get this opportunity, I will cherish it very much and try my best to learn and
practice
