Holiday
Good morning, everyone.Today I am very happy to be here to make a speech.My topic is holiday.Before I start my speech, let me introduce one of my best friends to you.He is a very cute boy.He is eight years old.He has a lot of hobbies, such as listening to stories, playing che, drawing pictures and so on.He is a little fat and strong. Do you know the reason? That is because his favorite thing is eating! Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken and chips,Strawberry yoghurt, icecream and cake,yeah, ice cream and cake!For all of these delicious food, he likes ice cream best! The summer holiday is so hot that he wants to eat all the ice cream.But whenever he opens the refrigerator furtively, his mother will shout to him: Only one! And this lovely boy is me,Simon.
I like summer holiday very much for many reasons: I don’t have to get up early and be afraid of being late for school; I don’t have to do so much homework so that I can do many things that I like to do: watching cartoons, reading comic books, do some handwork…That is amazing! Don’t forget that I can eat lots of yummy food at any time.
For me, last summer holiday is really unforgettable—my parents took me to Changzhou Dinosaur Park.The moment when I got to the gate of it, I was shocked by the gorgeous scene.I rushed there as soon as poible! In the park, I saw lots of beautiful scenery.The trees and gra were bright green; the flowers were opening the bees and butterflies were dancing among them.There were many dinosaur sculptures.Some of them looked like playing with their friends.Some were pondering.And others were crying into the air.I really wanted to climb on them, fondle and ki them.
What impreed me most was high speed roller coaster.It was an indoor game.If you looked at it from the outside, you won’t find it special.But if you looked inside, you would find a beautiful star night.The stars were all around you and made you feel good.Actually, I was very nervous, but I said to my mom: I am a little man now.I’m not afraid of it.But when it started, I knew that I was totally wrong.I was so nervous that my heart virtually burst out of my chest.I held fast to the armrest.I could say nothing but to hold my breath.Well, my mother said to me: dear, look at the beautiful star night! They are blinking their eyes and say hello to you! Unconsciously, we landed safely.My mom spoke highly of me.And at that moment, I felt proud.Time flew! We should say goodbye to the amazing park.Mom took a lot of pictures for me .Dear teachers, do you want to see this amazing park? Wait a minute, I will show you!（作画）
