Everyone knows a good eating habit is very important for us .But not many people have time to think about what to eat .In many western countries.fast food is very popular.Because people don\'t have time to eat,and they also think fast food is very delicious.In America,an American can eat about three hamburgers and four bags of French chips every day.That is 2520 calories.But we know a person need about only 2000 calories for a day.So you see , many Americans are very fat.We should have a good eating habit at once.What should we do?

People always say,\"An apple e day,keeps the doctor away.\"Drinking milk is also good for us.And we need a balance of \"yin\"and \"yang\".It\'s a traditional Chinese way to keep healthy.We shouldn\'t eat too much unhealthy food like junk food.Now , I will tell you what food are best for our health .Eggs have too much protein , you know protein is good for kids.And tomatoes have too many vitamins , it\'s good for everybody.Oh , soybean , carrots , seafood , green tea ,pawpaw , oranges , strawberries and so on are also healthy food .Please eat more these kinds of food!

Well, something happened and changed the situation.we won the right of holding the olympic games in XX.after that, sports became a kind of game in campus.and there are many sports clubs in school.one day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”first i felt so wired.

Today, I’m very proud to be here to give a speech about a dream, a dream for which we worked together for nine years or even more.As Beijing becomes the host city of the 29th Olympic Games, every Beijinger cares for the environment and good manners and behaviors much more than before.Now Beijing has already made herselves’ dream come true.So I must work harder to catch up with her steps.Knowing the hardne of making a dream into reality, I need to do my best at every side of my work, so then I believe my little dream—to be an interpreter—will definitely be realized someday in the future!

9、Practice tenses as much as poible.When you learn a new verb, learn its various forms. 

More important than winning the Cup is the friendship that has been established and developed among the contestants, and the chance to communicate offstage in addition to competing onstage.Also the competition helps boost public speaking in China, a skill hitherto undervalued.

For me, though, the competition is a more personal experience.Habitually shy, I had been reluctant to take part in any such activities.Encouraged by my friends, however, I made a last-minute decision to give it a try.In the course of preparation I somehow rediscovered myself, a truer me.

I found that, after all, I like communicating with other people; that exchanging views can be so much fun—and so much rewarding, both emotionally and intellectually; that public speaking is most effective when you are least guarded; and that it is eential to succe in every walk of life.

At a more practical level, I realized knowing what you are going to say and how you are going to say it are equally important.To take the original ideas out of your head and transplant them, so to speak, to that of others, you need to have an organized mind.This ability improves with training.

Yet there should not be any lo or addition or distortion in the proce.Those ideas that finally find their waysintosanother head need to be recognizably yours.Language is a means to transmit information, not a means to obstruct communication.It should be lucid to be penetrating.

In China, certain public speaking skills have been unduly emphasized.Will it really help, we are compelled to ask, to bang at the podium or yell at the top of your lungs, if you have come with a poorly organized speech, a muddled mind, and unwillingne to truly share your views?

Above all, the single most important thing I learnt was that as a public speaker, you need to pay attention, first and foremost, to the content of your speech.And second, the structure of your speech: how one idea relates and progrees to another.

Only after these come delivery and non-verbal communication: speed control, platform manner, and so on.Pronunciation is important, yet of greater importance is this: Is your language competent enough to expre your ideas exactly the way you intend them to be understood?

I was informed afterwards that I was chosen to be the winner for my "appropriately worded speech, excellent presence and quick-witted response".In so remarking, the judges clearly showed their preference: they come to listen for meaningful ideas, not for loose judgments, nor easy laughters.

Some contestants failed to addre their questions head on.Some were able to, but did not knows wheresto stop—the dragging on betrayed their lack of confidence.The root cause was that they did not listen attentively to the questions.Or they were thinking of what they had prepared.

As I said in my speech, "It is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking ...to take them [iues like globalization] on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way".We need to respond honestly.

A competition like this draws talented students from all over the country.And of course, I learnt more things than just about public speaking.Since in the final analysis, public speaking is all about effective communication.And this goes true for all communications, whatever their setting.中学生英语演讲稿5: 如何才能受人欢迎

In my 18 years of life, there have been many things.University days are the best part of them.I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university.I was impreed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere.I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies.The claes given by the teachers are excellent.They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well.They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers.However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progre.Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long proce; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself.This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world.A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues.But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day.Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes.In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happine for others can be truly happy.So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare.I once went to a barren mountain village with my clamates.We taught the kids there who could not afford school.While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerne to learn, their honesty and their purity.I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left.The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well.I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic.We also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time.But different people have different choices.The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding.But there are indeed some students still under ignorance.They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards.They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend.They forget completely about their miion as college students and the hope of their motherland.Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country.I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.The title of my speech today is "Croing the Sea" .An English poet by the name of Rudyard Kipling once wrote in this poem "We and They" :

All the people like us are We and everyone else is They We live over the sea While They live over the way We eat pork and beef with cow horn-handled knives They who gobble their rice off a leaf Are horrified out of their lives.

When these lines first caught my eyes, I was shocked--how could two people remain so isolated and ignorant of each other in the past? Today's society, of course, is an entirely different picture.Those people who used to eat with gobble their rice might be as well have taken to fish and chips.

Indeed, just take China as example; Our modern life has been influenced by Western style of living in so many ways that it's no longer surprising to see teenagers going crazy about rock-and-roll, whole families dining out at McDonald's and even rather elderly people dreed in Apple Jeans.

However, these are only some expreions of the cultural changes taking place in our society today.What is really going on is a subtle but significant restructuring of the nation's mentality.Just look around.

How many college graduates are ready to compete aggreively for every job opportunity, whereas not long ago they were asked just to sit idle and wait for whatever was to be aigned to them by the government?

How many young people are now eager to seek for an independent life whereas only two decades ago they would rely totally on their parents to arrange for their future? Ask anyone who participates in today's speech contest.Who has not come with a will to fight and who has not come determined to achieve self-fulfillment in winning the game? And I'm quite certain that if Confucius had lived to see today's China, he would have been horrified to see young lovers kiing each other in public places in an unreserved expreion of their paion.

It is therefore evident that we as descendants of an ancient Eastern civilization are already living under strong influence of the Western culture.But it is not only in China that we find the incorporation of the two cultures.

Take the United States as an example: During the 1980s, in face of the overwhelming competition from Japan, many American companies such as the Ford began to adopt a teamwork management from their rivals, the eence of which, lay at the very core of Eastern culture.

Take the Chinese acupuncture as another example: This traditional treatment of diseases is finally finding its way to the West and hence the underlying notion that illne is resulted from the imbalance between yin and yang within the body--an idea which would strike any Westerner as incredible in the past!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we live in a great epoch when the global integration of economy and the information revolution have brought cultures of the world closer than ever before.We live in a particular era when countries, East and West, find themselves in need of readjusting their traditional values.We live, at the same time, at a critical juncture of our evolution because such problems as ethnic conflicts and regional unrest are increasingly posing a threat to the peace and happine of the whole human race.To cope with such an era and to embrace an even brighter future, we need to learn to live more harmoniously in a world community which is becoming smaller and smaller.My dear fellow students, our command of the English language render sit poible for us to gain an insight into Western culture while retaining our own cultural identity.

Therefore, it is our sacred responsibility to promote the cultural exchanges and hence the mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world.

It is my happiest dream that new generation of Chinese will not only grow up drinking Coca cola and watching Hollywood, but also be bleed with the far-reaching benefits of multiple cultures; benefits that our forefathers had never, ever dreamed of.

To end my speech, I would like to quote Rudyard Kipling again:

All the people like us are We And everyone else is They But once you cro over the sea You will end by looking on We As only a sort of They.

演讲比赛的诸位，谁不是带着志在一搏的心情来到这里?谁不是铁下心来赢得这场比赛以实现自我?如今年轻人毫无顾

忌地宣泄情感当众亲吻，我确信，倘若孔子在世，他必被吓坏。

很明显，我们这些东方古老文明的后裔们早已生活在西方文化的强烈影响之下，然而出现这种异质文化合流的

现象不止是在中国。

以美国为例，20世纪80年代，面对来自日本的强大竞争压力，许多美国公司如福特公司开始采用对手的集体合作

管理方式，而这种方式正是东方文化核心之精华。

再以中华针灸为例，这种传统的医疗方法以及这种疗法的依据——即人体阴阳失调导致疾病最终得到西方社会的

承认，而在过去，西方人还认为这是无稽之谈。

needle to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to china is the XX olympic games.till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time.how much changes have you seen? new roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of gra fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction. other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the olympic games that cannot be seen directly.for example, more and more people will get to know china.i’m sure the mysterious chinese culture will attract them strongly.and the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awarene of environmental protection is being strengthened.what is more, olympic games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of chinese youth with the olympic values and the olympic spirit.now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights? i’ve already said a lot about the olympics and china.but i think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”does the olympic games have any special meaning to you?”

for us, i mean the chinese youth, XX olympic games is a tremendous gift.because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .the society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”hey! come here and take the helm! ”how charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life.this morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the olympi ic games waving its hand.after chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the olympic games.and mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. at the end of my speech, i hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world.let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges. 英语演讲比赛冠军演讲稿：A Scene to Remember

The word honor is often aociated with admirable career succe, brilliant academic achievement, great social contribution and high position.

When speaking of honor, one has images like yang li-wei, jackie chen or learned scholars like the honorable judges here.it is true that these people are worthy of admiration.but how about those who are around us, who contributes to the society in different ways, completing their everyday task with devotions but remain unknown? are they far from honor? should they only clap hands for the people on the stage? shouldn\'t they also deserve respect from us? i don\'t think so.

Honor wears different coats to different eyes.i would like to take mi zhang, a primary school teacher, for example.she has been teaching english for more than 30 years.countle students have learnt the first english letter from her and become interested in this language because of her enlightenment.so many years have paed and mi zhang is still an ordinary primary school teacher without any prize, flowers or honorable titles but in my eyes she is the very person who deserve honor and respect.every time i stand on the winner\'s box, i couldn\'t help thinking of mi zhang.i owe my succe in english and my gratitude to her.

Just as alexander pope said: act well your part, there all honor lies.honor can be found in our every day life and belongs to you, to me and to every ordinary person.
