Before Mr.XX became a postgraduate of Peking University, this young man had taken his undergraduate studies at Northeast China’s XX University, where I am working as a supervisor of doctoral students.At the request of Mr.XX, I am glad to recommend him, a promising young man, to your honored university.In addition to my principal work at XX University, I spend the rest working hours mainly on researches at the State Key Joint Laboratory on XXX.
Mr.XX had been studying at XX University College of Electronic Science and Engineering from 2006 to 2011.XX, the most important profeional course for microelectronics majors, was taught by me to Mr.XX’s cla from September 2008 to January 2009.Record shows that this young man achieved a score as high as 95 points on this course.Almost four years have paed, but Mr.XX’s active and quick response and serious attitude in cla still appear vividly before my eyes.What comes clearly into my mind was the scene we had profeional discuions after cla.One day, we talked about the Hall Effect from that morning until noon; and he was so absorbed in the discuion that we nearly forgot about the lunch time.
Furthermore, I would like to say this student was a quick leaner.It only took about 11 weeks for him to have a complete command of the rationale of MOCVD facilities and corresponding pneumatic circuit diagram, far shorter than other students.And the seriousne and sense of responsibility of this young man still retain fresh in my memory.Once, for example, our XX facilities had a breakdown.To ensure the students could proceed with the experiment as soon as poible, Mr.XX was not hesitant to come with me to the super-clean lab and repair the facilities together.
Prior to his graduation from XX University, Mr.XX was aigned to my research group for the graduation project in 2010, with the subject of Study of XXX.Under my guidance, Mr.XX polished his graduation paper for several times; and the finalized one, composed with plain theories, principles and such appropriate characterization and analytical methods as Metallurgical Microscope, SEM and AFM, was highly recognized by me.Upon my recommendation, Mr.XX’s paper was eventually on the Excellent Graduation Paper List of Jilin University that year.Actually, merely 10 out of the total 300 graduates of our college won this award.
Interestingly, I had written a letter of recommendation for Mr.XX to be admitted to Peking University two years ago.This time, I take such pleasure again out of my expectation for splendid academic accomplishment of this young man in the future.Please give your favorable consideration to Mr.XX’s application; and I will not hesitate to give more information whenever neceary.
