First, conduct a personal evaluation:
首先，准备一个自我评估：
What are your core values?
你的核心价值是什么？
What are your strengths and weaknees?
你的优点和缺点分别是什么？
What are you major interests?
你的主要兴趣集中在哪里？
What sort of education background have you had?
你的教育背景是怎么样的?
What sort of internships, part-time jobs or full-time jobs have you held?
你是否曾经实习过、做过兼职或全职工作？
What skills do you poe?
你现在有哪方面的技能（技术）？
Answer this simple question: If I could stop worrying about ________, then I would _________.
回答这个简单的填空问题：如果你可以不再担心______，那么你就会_______?
Second, take a look at what’s out there.
其次，仔细看一看现在的状况。
What sort of jobs would give you an opportunity to continue doing what you enjoy doing?哪种工作会给你机会能够继续做自己喜欢的事情？
Can I enter a company first as an intern/ trial employee before committing to working at the firm for a long period of time?
我可以在长期就职于一家公司之前，现在这家公司实习一段时间吗？
Have I discued my career options with at least four people close to me?
我是否已经和四个最亲近的人讨论过我的职业规划呢？
Is there anyone I know (or even a friend of a friend) that is currently involved in the sort of work I’m looking to do? Can they provide me any advice?

Third, plan and execute.
