Do you know which thing in the world is both the longest and the shortest? It’s both the fastest and the slowest; it is humongous but can be divided; it is valued the least but is lamented the most! You cannot do anything without it; it perishes all tiny substance and make all great things ceasele！
世界上哪样东西是最长的又是最短的，最快的又是最慢的，最能分割的又是最广大的，最不受重视的又是最爱惋惜的，没有它，什么事情都做不成，它使一切渺小的东西归于消灭，使一切伟大的东西生命不绝。
With no doubt, it is time! From the philosophy aspect, time represents the
persistence of events.It shows the events’ past, present and future.We can say it is a fabulous thing.It is unromantic and transient.Once it’s gone, it will never return.毫无疑问这就是时间，从哲学的角度来说，时间便是事物存在和运动的持续性，表明事物发展的过去，现在和将来，可以说它是一种十分奇妙的东西，它虽平淡无奇，但又稍纵即逝，一去不复返。
It was said by the ancients: Time is gold and it is difficult for one to buy time with gold.This means if you lose time you can never get it back.This is the reason why time is the most precious! Because of this, when thousands of poets and scholars
made poems, they also encouraged their futurities to cherish time.Therefore, time has been cherished all long.
古人云：一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴，寸金失落有处找，寸光阴失落无处寻，也就是说：失去了时间，就再也找不回来了，时间的极端可贵之处，正在这里。正因如此，无数的诗人、学者在诗词歌赋中叹咏它的同时，也勉励后人惜时。如：陶渊明在《杂诗》中言道：及时当勉励，岁月不待人；李贺在《嘲少年》中言：少年安能长少年，海波尚变为桑田；又如朱熹在《劝学》中说：少年易老学难成，一寸光阴不可轻。由此可见，珍惜时间历来被人们所重视。
From the aspect of cherishing time, Franklin is a claic model.He said that to cherish time was to do meaningful things.His experience proved his words.It is said that a young man stayed in Franklin’s book store for a long time, then he asked whether the book could cost le than one dollar, but the salesperson said the price
was one dollar.Then the young man insisted to see Franklin who was very busy in the printing room.He asked Franklin how much the book was.Franklin replied that it was one dollar and fifty cents.“But just now the salesperson said it is only one dollar!”The young man said.“You are right, but I would rather give you one dollar than leave my work.” Although the young man paid fifty cents more, he learnt a leon that for the great man, time is money.
从惜时角度来说，富兰克林也堪称典范。他曾说过这样一句话：“爱惜光阴，应做有用之事。”他也正是用自己的行动来证明自己这句话的，据说，有一个青年人在富兰克林的印刷所开办的书亭中犹豫了很长时间才开口问店员：“这本书多少钱？”“一美元。”店员答道。“一美元？”这人又问，“还能少吗？”“它的价格就是一美元。”店员重复说。这个青年停了一会儿，又问：“富兰克林先生在
吗？”“在。”店员答道，“他正在印刷室里忙着呢。”这个青年坚持要见富兰克林，于是富兰克林被请了出来。这人问：“富兰克林先生，这本书你能出最低价格是多少？”“一美元五十分。”富兰克林不加思索地说。青年人嚷道：“你的店员刚才还说是一美元呢！”“没错，但是，我情愿倒给你一美元，也不愿意离开我的工作。”这位年轻人默默地把钱放到柜台上，拿起书走了。他虽然多付了五十美分，但他明白了一个道理：对于有志者，时间就是金钱。
Dear clamates, how time flies! Making good use of every today is much better than two tomorrows! I hope each of us could cherish time and make full use of it.By the time we graduate and look back to the past years we can say to ourselves proudly “I have spent a solid and meaning school life; I’ve lived up to my life.” 同学们，时间转瞬即逝。有句话说的好，把握住今天，胜似两个明天。希望我们每个人都能珍惜时间，利用好时间，能学有所成，能在毕业之际，回首之际，无愧地说：“我度过了一段充实的美好的生活，无愧于我的生命。”
