My Point of Freedom Last year, a friend recommended me a fitne APP, named keep.It is interesting, fascinating, and could make a exercise schedule for me.So I started to do exercise by following the videos.But when time gone by, I found it was so hard to insist on one thing, because sweating and struggling would never be more comfortable than play your mobile-phone lying on bed, blowing air-condition.The slogan of this APP is that self-discipline gives me freedom.I could not understand it until I met Yu.
The first impreion she gave me was flawle.She is beautiful, healthy, having good shape and lively.She was good at tennis and basketball, what made her to be a number of the Women\'s basketball team in school.What’s more, she had climbed all of the Five Mountains.And what most surprised me was that she was an still model.I admired her, because she had done the things what I long for.But one day, Yu told me that she was fat,weak and negative ever before.But she desired to be a model, she want to be a perfect girl.So she stuck to do exercise everyday, nobody knows the painful she had suffered.she told me loudly that nowadays she had the ability to do what she wanted to.
Do you have a good vision and strong physique when you want to be a pilot.Do you have the spirit of research and creativity when you want to be a scientist.Or do you have money when you want to buy a beautiful sea view villa.What is freedom, to put it simply, freedom is that you can do what you want to.In the first place you must have the ability to do it.Self-discipline and efforts can urge you to achieve this kind of ability.If you want to have good vision, you have to pay attention to protect your eyes all the time, not watching TV or your mobile-phone too long, stopping using your eyes even you are really curious to the end of the TV play.If you want to have strong physique and good shape, you have to adhere to exercise, to repeat the boring and exhausting movements.If you want to be knowledgeable, you have to study really hard, even The teachers’ lectures for you is like a lullaby.Then, there is a question, can you really do everything when you have the ability.The answer overt is not, there are something you absolutely can not do.

In my opinion, there are various kinds of freedom in various eras.Nowadays we are all living in a big community, where peace, democracy, equality and justice are the goals we are pursuing.In order to realize these goals, we create laws and rules, what all the people live in this big community have to obey, or they will lost their freedom in this community.So in our era, freedom have limits.You can not talking loudly in a library, or smoke in a non-smoking section, or you will have no freedom to stay at these places.You can not break the law, such as steal, rap, murder and rape, or you will be sentenced to prison and deprived parts of your freedom.
Freedom closely linked with constraint.Not only the rules and laws ,some people think parents, friends, colleague and all the social relationships are constraint, in especial teenagers.They always think only get rid of this kind of constraint can they be free.Well, as a matter of fact, they will find that they are wrong when they get older.Because social relationship is a powerful spiritual support for you in the road of chasing freedom.In the novel The Unbearable Lightne of Being wrote by Milan Kundera, there is a paragraph about the psychological description of the heroine Teresa.It says that living in a strange country means stand on a steel wire high above the ground without nets of homeland to support him.However family, friends, colleagues and familiar language can help him expre what he want to say easily.Once Teresa abandon her homeland, family, friends only for love.When these things leave her ,she found she has lost sense of security, what make her be suspicious and dis-confident.
David Foster Wallace said The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awarene, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.I agree his point mostly.In my opinion freedom in our era include discipline, effort, limits(such as laws and rules) and social relationship.Firstly, discipline and effort can give us the ability to get freedom.Secondely, freedom must have limits.Finally, social relationship is a spiritual support for us to chase freedom.
