a、分组比赛,分别请两组的两位同学上台比赛,老师做出某个单词的口型,但不出声。台下的同学根据老师的口型分辨出单词并大声的说出来,台上的两位同学一个要迅速的取下黑板上相应的图卡,一个要迅速重复一遍单词。反应快,读得准的同学可为该组赢得一分。

b、图卡取下后,黑板上就只下单词了,老师指着单词,让学生分组认读,读对的得一分,分数最多的组为胜。

不要说OK, Sure, Yeah等等,而要说Certainly, Sir.Hey, uh-huh, Hang on 等等,也不适合在酒店中使用。

别说“I don’t know.” 回答 “不知道” 是非常不礼貌的说法。

可以说“just a moment, please.I’ll check that for you.” (请稍候,我来帮您确认),然后请有能力处理的人前来协助。

(二)招呼语

Good morning.(用于中午以前) Good afternoon.(用于中午至下午六点以前) Good evening.(用于下午六点过后) 在这些招呼语的后面接句子,例如: Good morning, sir.Are you checking-out? 早上好,先生,请问您要退房吗

后面也可以接上自己酒店名称、部门名称,如:

1.一般性的回答 I see, sir.我明白了,先生。 Certainly, sir.好的,先生。

2.请对方再等一会儿

Just a moment, please.请稍等。

Could you wait a little longer, please? 请您稍候好吗?

3.要麻烦客人或是拒绝客人的要求时

拒绝客人时,不要一口回绝说“No.”,要委婉一些。 I am afraid I can’t do that.不好意思,我恐怕没办法那样做。

八年级英语口语教案

一般来说,衡量一个人口语水平高低主要看以下几个方面: 1.语音、语调是否正确,口齿是否清楚; 2.流利程度;

3.语法是否正确,用词是否恰当,是否符合英语表达习惯;4.内容是否充实,逻辑是否清楚。

这些是衡量会话能力的主要标准。针对以上标准,采取相应的训练方法,大致可分作两个阶段。

第一阶段:准备阶段

主要是进行模仿、背诵、复述练习。目的是训练正确的语音、语调,提高流利程度,培养英语语感。同时,通过各种方式,如阅读,做练习题,听英语磁带,看英语录像和电影等,来扩大词汇量。掌握英语的习惯表达方式,扩大知识面和训练英语逻辑思维能力,准备会话前,要对常用的词(组)、短语等熟练掌握,“熟练”是与人会话的前提,只有熟练,在会话时才能流利。熟练的标准就是要达到不加思索地脱口而出。

第二阶段:实践阶段

主要进行大量的会话练习,与他人对话、讨论,基础好的可练习口译,自己讲英语故事等等。

(一)模仿

善于模仿 。模仿的原则:

一要大声模仿。这一点很重要,模仿时要大大方方,清清楚楚,一板一眼,口型要到位,不能扭扭捏捏、小声小气地在嗓子眼里嘟嚷。 二要仔细模仿。优美的语音、语调不是短期模仿所能达到的,对于有英国英语基础的人学说美国英语也是如此,对于习惯于说汉语的人学说英语则更是如此。

此外,模仿时还要有耐心,有信心,有恒心,不能有任何松劲畏难情绪,要相信自己完全有能力模仿得更好。

(二)复述 复述的基本方法 1.阅读后复述

阅读后复述就是在阅读完一段或一篇文章后,用自己的语言采用自我叙述的方式表达文中的内容。复述时可以使用文中的某些内容,但应尽量避免完全背诵;也可以使用文中出现的关键词或部分句型,作为复述的线索,帮助自己较完整地复述所读材料。 2.听磁带后复述

这种方法既练习听力,又练习口语表达能力。采用此种方法训练时,最好使用磁带的原话来复述,这样可以较准确地矫正自己的语音和语调,体味地道的英语口语。在说的过程中,应尽量避免出现语法错误。刚开始练习时,因语言表达能力、技巧等方面的原因,往往复述接近于背诵。但在逐渐打好基础后,在保证语言正确的前提下,复述可有越来越大的灵活性,如:改变句子结构,转换表达方法,用自己在课堂上新学的词汇和句型来替换一些不常使用的词汇和句型,对自己掌握不准读音的词汇可以不用,等复述完后再通过查词典和听录音进行正音。

复述的综合运用及复述策略的优化 1.简单复述

这种方法适用于培养复述能力的起始阶段 (1)对话的复述

用自己的话叙述对话内容,或将对话以短文的形式叙述出来,也可以先就对话提几个问题,再根据问题的答案叙述整个内容。 (2)课文的复述

综述:在新课标的要求下,小学英语应该以培养学生的兴趣与实际运用能力为主。根据小孩子活泼好动,模仿性强的心理特点,这门课程主要围绕学唱英文歌(Singing songs)和模仿对话(Let’s talk)两部分,让学生们感受到英语的魅力。歌曲能激发他们的兴趣,提高学习效益,课前课后唱一首英文歌,集中学生注意力的同时,寓学于唱。同时,模仿对话的环节,增加学生的实践量,训练语音语调,提高学生的听说能力,创设轻松愉快的学习环境和学习氛围。

课程安排: 第一节课:

1-10分钟,教师和学生互相自我介绍,教师介绍英语听说唱的开课目的、该课的特点、大概的课程安排以及应该怎样学好。 11-20分钟,教师教会学生一首简单的英文歌Little Bird。 21-25分钟,教师介绍这首英文歌曲的意思,让学生们懂得学习英语有很多途径和方式并且学习小小鸟努力勇敢飞的精神。

25-30分钟,教师让学生们看一小段小学英语教材的视频,温故知新,并从中巩固一些句型,如“This is our school”和”Where is the playground?”等。

第二节课:

目前,初中英语口语教学中存在诸多问题,主要有如下三个:一是学生缺乏自主学习英语口语的能力;二是教师和学生没有重视英语口语的学习;三是教师没有做到“授之以渔”,没有教会学生自主学习口语。笔者通过一定的理论研究和实践探索,找到了解决上述问题的对策。通过分析初中英语口语教学现状、自主学习的理论依据,而后将理论运用于实践,阐述教师如何设计自主学习任务,指导学生进行英语口语自主学习,培养学生英语口语交际能力,从而在口语教学中取得事半功倍的教学效果。

那么究竟如何才能更高效地教授英语口语呢?瑞士心理学家皮亚杰提出:“学习者要想真正获得知识,主要不是通过教师的传授得到的,而是学习者在一定的社会文化背景和情景下,利用必要的学习资源,通过与他人的协商交流合作和本人进行意义建构方式获得的。”由此可见,通过任务型教学,培养学生的自主学习能力至关重要。经过一番理论研究,并结合教学实际,我发现指导学生进行英语口语自主学习,训练并培养学生设计英语口语自主学习任务的能力,对英语口语教学有着事半功倍的效果。

一、将理论运用于教学实践——剖析英语口语自主学习任务的设计

国家《英语课程标准》(实验稿)(2001:29)也为设计“任务型”教学活动提供了六点指南:(1)活动要有明确的目的并具有可操作性;活动要以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点,内容和方式尽量真实;(3)活动要有利于学生学习英语知识、发展语言技能,从而提高实际语言运用能力;(4)活动应积极促进英语学科和其他学科间的相互渗透和联系,使学生的思维和想象力、审美情趣和艺术感受、协作和创新精神等综合素质得到发展;(5)活动要能够促使学生获取、处理和使用信息,用英语与他人交流,发展用英语解决实际问题的能力;(6)活动不应该仅限于课堂教学,而要延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活之中。

1.从口语任务设计者的角度看任务——设计口语任务的过程

口语任务是在语言教学中为达到某一具体的用英语交流的目标而设计的活动。设计口语任务主要有如下几点要求:

(1)设计的口语任务应有一个明确的目标,并要向学生说明这个任务的目的是什么,参与这个任务之后能学会做什么。

对口语任务的要求应视学生的实际水平而定,不能超出学生当前的能力太多,以使学生的心理压力降到最低限度,并最大限度地发挥他们的积极性。

(3)口语任务的设计应由易到难,充分考虑学生的兴趣。当前的能力和完成任务所需要的时间。口语任务应适合不同层次的学生。可以考虑给不同能力的学生分配不同的口语任务。

(4)大量的小组活动被认为是任务型口语教学的特点之一。在设计任务时,不仅要有独立完成的任务,还应有更多的小组活动和结合对练习。

2.从学习者的角度看任务——大班教学如何设计任务

我所在的学校施行的是大班教学,一个班级40多位学生。我所带的班级学生英语口语成绩两极分化比较严重。根据这一实际,我采用了小组和结对练习,这样就使得更多的学生能够参与学习并大量增加他们运用语言的机会。国外的研究证明,小组活动比教师独自讲解与控制练习更有利于学生掌握语言。Long(1976)认为,在小组活动时,学

生可以大量使用各种不同的语言,比教师个人在讲台前要更丰富和多样化,而这样更有助于语言的习得。

那么,具体如何来指导小组合作设计自主学习任务来学习英语口语呢?在此,我有五条建议与大家分享。我已把这些方法运用于实践,确实有一定的效果。缚!

建立活动小组,增加口语自主学习的机会

英语是一门实践性很强的学科,在班级学生人数较多的情况下,为了便于开展语言实践活动,建立活动小组是一个很好的对策。每组4-5人,优差生结合,每组选择一名英语口语较好的学生做组长,并在组与组之间开展竞赛。课上回答问题、检查朗读、背诵等以小组为单位进行。课内外听说训练、句型和课文的演练,听录音、朗读、背诵、听写、小测验等多种活动也都以小组进行。例如在教一篇新课文时,我要求学生认真预习课文,每个小组收集和课文相关知识的资料,在课文整体理解和分段讲述之后,要求学生围绕课文内容以多种方式做展开性的提高练习。这样,小组成员互相合作,能够保证课上每个学生有4-5次的练习机会,加大了练习的广度和强度,并且使那些英语口语很差的同学能够在同伴的帮助下开口说英语,使听说训练活动在全体学生中得到落实。

选择性辅导,提高口语自主学习的效率

我在每节课都重点辅导某几个小组的活动,对学生的发音、语用错误做单独的帮助,同时帮助学生归纳共性的错误,并对小组任务后进行总结分析,给学生再口语练习的机会。此时,我更关注学生要表达的意思和想法、语言的运用及学生之间为了完成任务而进行的交流活动,而不是过多地纠正学生的语言错误,以至于使他们有挫折感而影响完成任务的积极性。

(3)运用5W1H表述话题,搭建口语自主学习的平台

5“W”和1“H”,是英语教学中最常用的六个特殊疑问词(What, Who, Why, When, Where和How)。在英语课堂口头表达中,为促进学生有话说,我尝试运用5“W”和1“H”,为学生撑起一个说话的支架,从不同侧面进行提问的方式进行问答并加以拓展和延伸,促进学生主动开口,从而给他们创建了口语自主学习的平台,使他们的口语交流变得分外顺畅。

(4)努力创设情境,增添口语自主学习的色彩

情境是指交际活动的社会背景。语言常常是伴随着一定的情景而体现的。初中的学生爱活动,好表现。凡能表现的语言情景,我都要求学生表演,让学生做演员,教师当导演,让表演进入课堂,使学生得到了大量的语言实践锻炼。例如,在讲完7B Unit3 Reading A Lucky Escape的时候,我不要求把课文死记硬背,而是让他们分组,课后进行分角色话剧表演,选定一个时间组与组之间开展话剧竞赛,最后一名的小组成员要背课文,其余学生可以不背。优等生演台词较多的角色,后进生演台词较少的角色,这样的分工给了优等生表现的机会,也给了那些从来不会背书的后进生在同伴的帮助下开口说英语的机会。这样就提高了全班学生的学习英语的积极性,使学生乐于开口。

(5)选取生活话题,培养口语自主学习的能力

学生学习英语口语的目的在于交流,我们教材的大部分话题都来源于真实生活。但要使学生能在课外真正与他人进行真实环境下的,没有预设条件的英语口语交际,单靠教材本身所提供的语言材料,学生依然是“巧妇难为无米之炊” ,存在着口语交流的障碍。因此为了真正培养和提高学生的英语口语交际能力,在平时教学中,我既注重课内的口语能力展现也重视课外的口语交际。这两种渠道的输入与输出是循环的,通过课内、课外的联动提高学生的英语口语能力。

二、研究结论

通过理论研究和实践探索,笔者认为指导初中生进行英语口语自主学习,训练并培

养他们设计英语口语自主学习任务的能力,对英语口语教学确实有着事半功倍的效果。希望广大教师能牢记《英语课程课标》(实验稿)的要求,采用任务型教学模式,设计出更丰富、更有效的英语口语自主学习的任务,让学生尽早摆脱“哑巴英语”的束缚。

一、概念的提出

所谓口语交际,即交际双方为了一定的目的,运用恰当、准确、规范的口头语言,采用一定的方法,进行思想交流的言语活动。口语交际是双向互动的过程,在双向互动的语言实践中培养学生的口语交际能力。“口语交际”最先出现在外语教学,它采用了崛起于70年代的交际教学法,以培养交际能力为目的,对于提高学生实际运用语言的能力很有效果。

美国心理学家布鲁纳认为:“成功的外语课堂教学应在课堂内创设更多的情景,让学生有机会运用自己学到的语言材料。”这充分体现了儿童爱新奇、好动的特点,突出了语言的实践性和交际性,使学生能够“学以致用”。小学英语教学应该把培养学生的交际意识放在首位,学生只有在头脑中形成用英语进行传递信息和交流感情的学习动机,才能在学习中产生强烈的兴趣和持久力,从而大大地促进学习。

二、口语交际教学的必要性

具备良好的口语交际能力,是适应现代社会人际交往需要的基本素质。新一轮课程改革顺应

时代发展潮流,从提高学生人文素养的理念出发,将培养学生的口语交际能力提到了一个新的高度。随着北京申奥的成功、中国国际影响力的逐步提高,中国与世界的联系日益密切,人们对口语交际能力越来越重视,外语越来越成为一门重要的基础工具学科。社会需要人们具有用英语表达思想和理解别人的能力,需要人们具有运用英语进行口语交际的能力。 因此,作为培养未来社会人才基础的小学英语教学,理应注重培养学生的口语交际能力。小学阶段是英语学习的初始阶段,是激发学生学习兴趣,培养其口语交际能力的关键时刻。教师应尽可能地把所学的课本内容变为真实的情景让学生操练,锻炼学生的口语,培养学生的交际能力。

三、口语交际的现状

小学生英语学习缺乏口语运用的环境、缺少课外口语实践的机会,缺乏英语视听材料,这些都在一定程度上制约了小学生口语交际能力的发展。有些学生考试常常能拿高分,但要让他流利地说几句英语却很难。在进行课堂口语练习时,有的学生面对老师和同学十分害羞,不愿积极参与口语活动;有的学生虽然参与积极性较高,心里或许也想得不错,但一到口头表达,就抓耳挠腮,不知怎么表达;还有的学生自由讨论会话时语言流畅,一到正式发言就吞吞吐吐,结结巴巴,表达时出现许多语言错误。这些都是学生的口语交际在课堂上真实的表现。

四、浅析此现状的原因

(一)缺乏较好的心理素质

学生在进行口语表达时,大多数内心会焦虑紧张。性格开朗的学生善于表现自己,不怕丢面子,敢举手说,能得到较多锻炼机会,情况会稍微好一些。但关键时刻,也容易胆怯。有一次,我们班举行英语演讲比赛,一个平时表现非常好的孩子却紧张得站不稳,身体不由自主地前后摇晃,声音也非常小。事后,我问他为什么会那么紧张,他说:“英语毕竟不是汉语,

平时练的机会少,说起来就不自信了。”性格内向或基础较差的学生就更是如此了。由于内向,对说的积极性本来就较低,再加上说的是自己不熟悉的英语,那就更不敢说了,他们害怕说错了被同学嘲笑,被老师批评,即便有时候他们会说,也不敢举手,非常不自信,这样他们的口语水平就更难得到提高。

(二)缺乏良好的语言环境

俗话说“拳不离手,曲不离口”。同样,要想提高英语口语水平,必须要在好的语言环境中多练。但由于我们的学生并不是生活在英语的语言环境中,他们见到外国人并能与外国人对话的机会非常少,在他们的生活中,爸爸妈妈也少有能用英语与他们对话的,所以课堂外,学生使用英语的机会很少。即便在课堂上,如果教师不能创设轻松愉快的情境和氛围,不能引导学生大胆说、大胆练,学生也不容易主动积极地参与。如此一来,拳离了手,曲离了口,就练不好了。

(三)学生人数较多

由于师资力量缺乏及追求教育资源的最大化利用,现在大多数学校都是大班教学,每班少则四十多名学生,有的甚至达到六七十名学生,这给教师组织口语训练带来了很大的困难,教师很难关注到每一位学生的具体表现,也很难针对个别学生的具体表现而给予及时指导。这种情况很容易造成口语交际水平的两极分化:自觉性好的学生能有效利用口语交际的时间,积极操练,拿不准的及 时问老师,口语交际水平在操练中得到快速提高;自觉性不好的学生很容易趁机放松大脑上课的状态,思想开小差,或者两人悄悄地讲闲话,结果是下课后什么也不会说。

四、对策

(一)培养良好的心理素质增强学生英语交际的信心

培养学生良好的心理素质,可以从课堂入手,在课堂上创造一种安全的心理氛围,在口语交

际时,鼓励学生开口说,大声说,说得好的及时表扬,如: “You are really wonderful!” “ What an excellent boy\\girl!” “ Well done! Good job!” … 说的不好,只要声音洪亮,也要找到他的闪光点进行激励性评价,如: “It doesn’t matter.You are brave in my mind!” “Your voice is beautiful!” “ I believe you will be better next time.” 让每位学生在说的时候没有心理负担,让每个孩子都有想说的冲动,想说的欲望。总之,只要学生主观上积极参与了口语交际活动,我们都要鼓励与支持,千万不能因为哪位学生说得不够流利,哪位学生的发音不够准确而对其进行指责。

另外,教师还要善于从学生的表情中察觉出学生的内心活动,寻找机会培养学生的心理素质。比如:一个孩子平时很少主动举手发言,可是当别的学生在说的时候,他却听得非常认真,甚至用表情做出了相应的评价,时而微笑着点头,时而静默地摇头,并且充满期待地用眼睛看着我们老师,这时,我们就应该果断地点名这位学生回答问题,因为他肯定能回答正确,然后我们再及时地对其进行表扬,反复几次,慢慢地,他的信心就会增强,心理素质也会随之增强。

(二)创设良好的英语环境激发学生英语交际的欲望

课堂上,我尽可能多的模拟真实的语言环境,开展师生互动、生生互动,创设良好的交际环境。比如:在学习牛津小学英语6A第二单元《Ben’s birthday》时,我事先打印好调查表,学完“When’s your birthday? My birthday is on the… What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like…”重点句型后,将表格发给学生,让他们自由采访班里的同学或者老师,这样学生能马上运用新学的知识去做事,他们就会产生一种满足感,觉得这样的学习真有趣,于是就积极参与了。在学习牛津小学英语6B第三单元《Ask the way》时,我事先设计好 Star Theater, People’s Park, Center Zoo, History Museum等标志牌,上课前让学生将课桌摆成几条纵横交错的马路,将几个标志牌放在各个不同的位置。这样,

学完句型 “Can you tell me the way to…?Go along this street, and then turn…at the…corner, the…is on your …”后,学生就可以在由我设计的教室这个真实的情景中自由交际,运用语言了。

课堂外,我也尽可能地创设一些外语的氛围,力争让学生一进校门,就能感受到一种浓浓的英语氛围。例如:利用校园广播,每天早上适时播放欢快活泼的英语歌曲及日常交际用语;倡导师生之间用英语互致问候, 以“Hello, Mi Kang! Good morning\\afternoon\\evening, Mi Kang!” 替代传统的“老师好!”;在学校宣传栏里展览学生的英语书法作品、英语小诗以及学生发表的英语小作文;通过建立英语角、开展各种竞赛如演唱英语歌曲、朗诵英语小诗歌、表演英语会话或短剧;利用多媒体给学生看一些英语的动画片,让学生真实的感受学英语的氛围。通过创建校园英语氛围,大大激发学生用英语的积极性,培养学生的听说能力,从而提高学生的口语交际能力。

(三)开展小组合作性学习培养学生英语交际的能力

小组合作学习为学生创设了一个能够充分表现自我的氛围,可使学生不正确的思考结果及时得到纠正,使不愿思考的学生在小组学习的氛围中不得不去思考、讨论,为每个学生个体提供更多的机遇。小组成员在小组内能够进行充分的语言、思维及胆量的训练。通过交流,他们能够大胆地将自己的见解通过语言表达出来。在交流中逐步培养学生能主动与别人交往,形成自己的独立见解。

在小学英语课堂上,培养小学生口语交际能力更需要小组合作性学习。通过让学生在小组中进行口语交流,使他们的主体性得到大大的提高,从而促进每一个学生的全面发展。例如在执教牛津小学英语6A 第六单元《Holidays》中的\"Look and learn\"这一环节中,谈论 “When’s…?What do people usually do at…? Did you…at last…?”我们可以先让学生以小组为单位进行口语交际,教师进行巡视和指导,最后由小组长选出代表上台将组内口语

交际的内容向全班同学汇报。比一比那个小组汇报的最流利,最全面。评选完最佳小组后,再进行最佳个人的评选。让学生在座位上做好,教师分别用几句简短的英语描述某些节日的特征,让学生抢答出这些节日名称,然后由教师和学生共同评选出最佳个人。这样的趣味活动非常适合小学生学习英语。既培养了他们的小组合作精神,使其懂得同他人合作,又锻炼了学生的口语交际能力。同时,也锻炼了他们的竞争意识,使整节课堂气氛也变得活跃起来。学生把上课当成一种游戏,一个可以轻松获得成功体验的场所,一个可以畅所欲言的天地。如此,小组合作性学习则充分调动了孩子英语口语表达的积极性,在润物细无声中增强了口语表达的信心,提高了口语表达的能力。

五、结语

After the meal is over it is not polite to leave for at least half an hour, lest you seem to have come only for the meal.An evening dinner invitation usually implies that you stay for the whole evening.

To begin with, there are so many meaningful traditional festivals in China, from which people could have a rest and get relax.In the festival, without the burden of work, people call on relatives, visit their respected teachers, and chat with their best friends.Though the temperature is very could in that time, the atmosphere among people is very warm and happy.Besides, there are other meaningful and instructive festivals in China, such as Autumn Day, National Day, Pure Bright Festival, etc.Furthermore, western festivals have the cultural and historical origins in the western countries, which are not known and comprehended by Chinese people.There are so many western festivals, which are originated from or related with Christian or Catholicism which are not believed in by the majority of Chinese people.We could not gain the happy feeling since we could not understand these holidays’ meanings.Finally, there are negative aspects on unhealthy people in the western festivals which should not be celebrated by us.All Saints Day is a very thrilling festival, in which people put the horrible or sinister mask upon their faces.Though these kinds of actions help people to boost their courage, it is dangerous to the unhealthy people or ill people with heart diseases or cerebrovascular diseases.
