Redefine the image of Macbeth in humanism
perspective
Abstract
Macbeth is one of the most influential tragedies of William Shakespeare.It has been popular for more than three hundred years because of its enchantment.Mostly.People consider the destiny of Macbeth is ruined by his lust for power.He and lady Macbeth can be regarded as evils.Neverthele, somebody think the prophesy of the witches can be regarded as predestination or riddle of destiny.These notions are reasonable.But,A work may get new or different meanings in different perspectives and times.This thesis is targeted to redefine the image of Macbeth from the notion of humanism,relating the background of time of Renaiance,the finding of “human”of Renaiance.The writer has took a effort to look for bibliography from literature books, thesis, journeys and so on.The main research of this thesis is documentation method.The findings of this thesis can be concluded that Macbeth is the symbol of humanism who is awaken to the new political institution rather than the traditional feudual system.what’s more,the predition of the three witches is apocalypetic and guided to the new development way of human history, although it may means that there will be blood and sacrifice.From the destiny of Macbeth we can see the complexcive mind of William Shakespeare—the looking of new institution and the restriction of morality.But the advancement of peth can never be flat, so the destiny of Macbeth is inevitable.The advanture and resistant spirit have great maning to the development of human history.Even now, we can also take the
good meaning of Macbeth.This thesis can not be perfect, and just wirte it to share findings of the author with others.
