成全一棵树
（1）在一个平常的春天，一位饱经风霜的母亲，向别人讨了几棵树苗。她要把树苗栽在门前。
（2）母亲栽完树后，她的孩子从屋里一拐一拐地走出来。“妈妈，把这棵小树也栽下吧！”孩子的手里擎着一棵树苗。那是她丢弃的一棵。这棵树苗又瘦又小，甚至还有一些枯萎。孩子吃力地站在母亲的面前。他是她最小的孩子，一出生就残疾。孩子擎着那棵树苗，满眼里都是渴求的光芒。母亲望着孩子站立不稳的腿，她犹豫了。她认为孩子是在做着一件没有结果，同样也没有意义的事情。等看到孩子眼里的那片灼灼的光芒，母亲终于点点头。
（3）孩子高兴极了，他小心翼翼地放下树苗，抢着去挖树坑。他人小力气弱，挖得很吃力。母亲要替他挖，他不肯，硬是自己挖成了，孩子挖的树坑比母亲挖得都大、都深。
（4）树苗栽种下了，孩子一拐一拐地拎着水桶给每一棵树浇水。母亲看着，心里想着这棵树苗会活过来，会长成一棵大树吗？母亲的目光是复杂的。
（5）不久，母亲惊异地发现，那棵树苗和其他树苗一样，也鼓出了叶子，只不过稍迟了几天，叶片稍细小了些。可不管怎么说，它活过来了，它也是一棵树了。
（6）每一天，孩子都要拎着水桶浇树苗。孩子是认真的，他浇水也不厚此薄彼，一棵小树一桶水。那棵由他乞求母亲允许亲手挖坑栽种的小树苗，孩子也只浇一桶水。
（7）小树一天一天长大了，开始的时候，那棵小树明显地不如其他的树壮实，显得有些楚楚可怜。可是第二年夏天，它竟然慢慢地赶上了它们。
（8）这一年冬天，母亲做出了一项重大决定，送这个残疾的孩子也去读书。而在此之前，她是难有这个能力也不想让这个孩子去学校。孩子背着母亲用布片为他缝制的书包，高高兴兴上学去了。他一拐一拐地走向学校，可他的脸上却是永远像春天一样明丽灿烂！
（9）放了学，除了做作业，孩子就浇那几棵树，一拐一拐地拎着水桶奔走在水塘和树之间。春去秋来，那棵本来已经失去了生存资格的树，比别的树更青翠更挺拔。
（10）孩子每天都是高高兴兴的。别人送给他一个绰号：阳光。大家都叫他阳光。他也喜欢这个绰号。
