[2] 持久繁荣：lasting/enduring prosperity 中译英中，四字词是个难点，基本原则是译出实质。先进行分析，“持久繁荣”，属于偏正短语，则按照实质译出即可“enduring prosperity”。

类似表达如，“繁荣昌盛”，此为并列短语，即两个意思相近的词并列，一般来说可以将两个词分译，译出实质即可，即thriving and prosperous，而有些时候，在口译中，仅译成一个词的实意即可，如愿祖国有个繁荣昌盛的明天：I wish my motherland a flourishing future。

同时，在口译时，类似的词汇如“繁荣富强”,“兴旺发达”“蒸蒸日上”都可简译为 prosperous/thriving/booming/flourishing 如，愿某某公司未来蒸蒸日上：I wish…a thriving future.

[3] “要以经贸合作为基础，以高新科技为引领，以绿色经济为重点”处理这三个以的时候,不可一视同仁,也不可从中文的习惯出发,均译成“treat…as”等中式英文。应当按照英文习惯说法进行翻译，前两个“以”可以处理成被动语态“be based on ”“be hi-tech guided”，第三个“以……为重点”可以根据英文中通常的说法译成“take…as a priority”或者也可译为“be green economy focused”,与前句形成排比。

[4] 节能环保：Energy conservation and environmental protection。此类词组的译法，应当采取通用的习惯译法，由动态的“节能”转换为静态的“Energy conservation”，且不可译成中式的“to conserve energy ”，类似表达如“环保型汽车”，可按照常用英语表达方式，译为“Environment-friendly car”。同时要注意“conservation of energy”意为“能量守恒”而非“节能”，不可混淆。
