2Picao, Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, draughtsman, designer, and ceramicist who spent most of his career in France.He was the most famous and prolific artist of the 20th century and exercised enormous influence on his contemporaries.
p3Picao showed artistic talent at an early age.His first surviving drawings were done when he was nine.In 1897 ,Picao ,age 16 set off for the first time on his own.but his difficulties accepting formal instruction led him to stop attending cla soon after enrolment.A few days before his ninetenth birthday,he arrived in Paris.
