1985年研制出中国第一台光杆排线器，填补了国内空白，收到了行业的赞誉。
1988年完成了光杆排线器的系列化生产，共有五种型号的排线器产品投入市场，基本满足了国内线缆设备，金属制品设备各种排线工艺要求。企业更名为“新绛县店头排线器厂”。
1990年进行了企业的第一次搬迁，新建了厂区和生产车间，提高了生产能力。
1992年被“北京机电设备总公司电工设备研究所”吸收为会员。第一次参加了在南戴河举办的“电线电缆新产品新技术信息交流会”。 1993年光杆排线器产品被国家专利局批准并授予专利权；颁发“实用新型专利证书”，企业进行第二次扩建，建设南厂区，生产能力扩大了五倍。
1995年设立了第一个驻外办事处（杭州办事处）。 1996年设立了天津办事处，上海办事处。 1997年设立了无锡办事处。
1999年设立了广东东莞办事处。企业进行了第三次扩建，厂区面积扩大了五千余平方米。厂房面积3000平方米，生产能力又扩大了五倍。
2000年被中国线缆行业设备用户监督委员会评为质量信得过产品和定点生产单位。
2002年企业更名为：“山西天祥机械有限公司”，建立和聘任全国六大片的区域经理，从此公司销售和服务网络覆盖全国。光杆排线器第三代产品投入批量生产（采用德国标准，外壳为铝型材结构）。
2005年公司创办二十周年，四月三十日举行隆重的庆典活动。全国同行业百余家企业到场祝贺。同年企业通过了ISO9001:2000质量体系认证。
2006年公司进行了第四次扩建，厂区面积扩大了7000平方米，厂房3500平方米。
