一、考试目的
本课程是一门综合了翻译理论与实践，输入与输出的实用性课程，其考试目的在于：一方面，检验学生对翻译理论和技巧掌握的程度，包括翻译的本质和定义，翻译的原则与标准，翻译的过程，英汉异同，词、句、段、篇章各层次及各种文体的翻译策略与技巧，译者的素养及翻译史基本知识；另一方面，检验学生将翻译理论与技巧运用于译文优劣判断，特别是英汉互译实践的能力。

依据课程大纲之要求，学生应在学习本课程后具备相关的翻译理论知识和翻译技巧，并将其应用于指导自己的翻译实践活动，能够借助于词典忠实通顺地完整翻译中级英文读物。本课程考试形式为笔试，其中翻译理论部分占30%，翻译实践部分占70%。教材所学内容占60%，教材外内容（即翻译实践部分）占40%。根据课程特点，考试主要题型可以是关于翻译理论的填空题，是非题，简述题，和翻译实践的英汉互译题等。翻译实践题可根据教学进程，按一定比例出句子翻译，段落翻译，和篇章翻译。
三、考试方法、考试时间及试题类型
1．考试方法：笔试（闭卷）。 2.计分方式：满分100分。
3.考试时间：考试用时按学院统一要求。 4.试题类型：由教研室根据实际要求制定。

VI.填空(10%)
