Section A是一节听说课，是Topic 1整体教学的总要内容。本课教材内容围绕购物和询问价格展开，让学生学会谈论物品的价格以及如何购物，并且要掌握1000以内数字的读写。教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用英语进行交流，培养学生的口语表达能力和语言运用的能力。 二．学情分析
七年级学生学习英语兴趣浓厚，经过半个学期的英语学习，有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力。同时，他们充满表现欲，乐于与他人交流，在课堂活动中通过创设情境和创造更多的机会让学生展现自我，并给予高度评价，激发他们学习英语的积极性和主动性，实现课堂教学的有效性。 三．教学策略
本课围绕购物话题展开，运用情景交际教学法来培养学生的口语表达能力和运用语言的能力。整个教学过程使用多媒体，通过听音，比较归纳，创设情景和对话表演等活动激发学生的学习热情。教学过程中贯彻启发性、交际性、循序渐进和创造性等教学原则，由简到繁，由易及难，并注重过程性评价。此外，本节课在课堂活动中进行了四人一组的小组讨论，学生带着任务在活动中互相探讨交流，相互合作，培养他们探究合作能力。 四．教学设计思路
本节课围绕购物及询问价格展开，上课时间接近圣诞节，故利用图片、视频、歌曲等创设情景，以参加圣诞派对为主线，学会用英语购买衣服为任务，引导学生学习数字表达以及常用的购物用语。经过操练和积累，最终能够运用所学目标语，模仿1a生成新的对话。 五．教学目标 1.知识目标
（1）能正确拼读并运用以下单词和词组：shop, madam, try on, how much…
（2）能正确表达1000以内的数字并正确拼读相关单词：thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred （3）掌握购物的基本用语，能够运用下列句型：
1.—What can I do for you, madam?
Can/May I help you?
—I want to buy some clothes for my daughter.
2.Can I try it on?
3.— How much is … / are …?
— It’s ..yuan ./ They\'re … yuan.
4.Not at all.5.It looks very nice on you.

2.能力目标
通过听音，跟读掌握正确的语音语调，养成良好的语言习惯。用简单的英语句型进行购物，激发学生学习的积极性和主动性。 3.情感目标
通过多种活动培养学生的英语学习兴趣；通过同桌交流和小组合作，培养学生探究合作学习的能力。 六．教学过程 1.Greetings 2.Look some pictures and sing a song: We Wish You a Merry Christmas.设计意图：通过图片和歌曲活跃课堂气氛，激发学习兴趣同时创设情境。 3.Review the numbers from 0 to 20 by looking at the pictures. 4.Learn the numbers from 21 to 999 step by step.5.Sum up the rules of expreing numbers.设计意图：先复习已学过的数字0-20，循序渐进学习几十，几十几和几百几的数字表达，学生通过对比，归纳总结数字表达的规律。
6.Look at the pictures of a shirt and a pair of gloves, try to expre the price of them.Learn the sentence pattern: --- How much is it / are they? --- It’s … / They’re …
7.Try to use the sentence pattern to gue the price of the clothes.8.Ask and answer by using two of the pictures.Practice expreing the price.9.Listen to 2b and check the answers.设计意图：问价格是本节课的重点功能句。通过学习，然后猜价格，让学生熟悉句型和数字的表达，为听2b和学习1a打下基础。
