(FA)The floor attendants work at the public area of certain floor.They usually give information and answer questions about the room facilities, supply the room with items that required by guests.They are also expected to run errands for guests such as filling guests’ requests for special pillows, extra hangers, cribs for infants, irons and ironing boards, and hair dryers.
(RA) The actual work of cleaning and caring for the guest is performed by the room attendant .These employees are usually women .Their duties include making or changing beds,dusting furniture ,cleaning floors and vacuuming carpets,washing bathrooms,replacing towels and supplying the room with items that are specified by hotel or cunstom .In some hotel ,there is a nightly “turn-down service ”,in which the bed coves are turned down to make the bed look more inviting.
(RAs do the check-out rooms first unle there is a request.Everyday many guests check out and leave the hotel.The rooms they stayed in are called check-out rooms.We have to get these rooms ready for sale by the Front Office.)
