旅游者人数
⑴入境过夜游客人数：指来中国参观、访问、旅行、探亲、访友、休养、考察、参加会议和从事经济、科技、文化、教育、宗教等活动的外国人、华侨、港澳同胞和台湾同胞的人数。不包括外国在我国的常驻机构，如使领馆、通讯社、企业办事处的工作人员；来我国常住的外国专家、留学生以及在岸逗留不过夜人员。
⑵国内过夜游客人数：指我国大陆居民和在我国常住1年以上的外国人、华侨、港澳台同胞离开常住地在境内其他地方的旅游设施内至少停留一夜，最长不超过6个月的人数。
国际旅游(外汇)收入指入境旅游的外国人、华侨、港澳同胞和台湾同胞在中国大陆旅游过程中发生的一切旅游支出，对于国家来说就是国际旅游(外汇)收入。
旅游饭店指按照国家有关规定评定的星级饭店或具有同等质量、同等规模的住宿设施。具体包括星级饭店和未评星但纳入旅游部门统计范围的宾馆、酒店、旅馆等住宿单位。
Number of Tourists
(1) Number of Oversea Tourists refers to foreigners, overseas Chinese, Chinese compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan coming to China for sight-seeing, visits, tours, visiting relatives, medical treatment, study tours, attending conferences or to engage in economic, scientific & technological, cultural and religious activities.It does not include representatives and employees of foreign resident offices in China such as embaies, consulates, news agencies and offices of foreign companies and organizations, nor does it include long-term foreign experts or students residing in China, or persons in transition without spending a night in China.
(2) Number of Domestic Tourists refers to Chinese (mainland) residents and foreigners, overseas Chinese, Chinese compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan which live in China more than 1year, who traveled in China, stayed in hotels at least one night but le than 6 months.
Earnings (Foreign Exchange Earnings) from International Tourism refer to the total expenditures of foreigners, overseas Chinese, Chinese compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan during their stay in the mainland of China on travelling, which are foreign exchange earnings from international tourism from the point of view of China.
Tourists Hotelsrefer to evaluation of star - rated hotels in accordance with the relevant State regulations or have the same quality, accommodation facilities of the same scale, including star-rated hotels and non-star hotels within the tourism sector statistical scope.
