Bad wishes
If you are able to have three wishes,what will you wish for?A car?A beautiful house?I agree that they are rather great.However,which will you choose,money or family?It is a frightening question.I don`t like it.Now,I tell you my answer,family.I answered the question as soon as I finished reading a story called The Monkey`s Paw,a sad story.
The story is about a monkey`spaw.The story started in a living-room that very little and warm.The Whites were in the living-room.Soon,a friend came.He is a soldier.He gave the Whites a monkry`s paw.It was little and dirty.And he told them the monkey`s paw was magic!Herbert,the son of Mr and Mrs White didn`t trust it。So he laughed at it.The soldier told them the paw can give three wishes to three people.Mr White was the third but the soldier said‘the paw doesn`t bring happine.’ So Mr White was afraid.However,they are so poor so Mr White wished for 30,000 pounds.But Herbert,their son died because of a machine when he was wokingso the company gave the sad parents some money,30,000 pounds.It was the first wish.
The second wish,Mrs White wished to see her son.The third wish,the last wish,Mr White wished her son disappeared.It would be very frightening to see her dead son.A sad end.
I learn a lot from this story.I know family is more important than everything but in fact,not only family ,even your friends and clamates are also very important.
We can usually hear a richman says that he is not happy.
Why? He has a numder money .He can buy a lot of things.Why are he still feel unhappy?Because money is the root of all evil.We shouldn’t spend too much on money.They are not worth so don’t wish for anything ,especially money.
