Grammar : the past perfect tense

概念:表示在发生在过去的两个动作在前的那一个,它表示句子中描述的动作发生在“过去的过去”。 基本结构:

主语+had+过去分词vpp.(done)

① 肯定句:主语+had+过去分词.

② ②否定句:主语+had+not+过去分词.

③ ③一般疑问句:Had+主语+过去分词?

④ 肯定回答:Yes,主语+had.

否定回答:No,主语+had not .

⑤ 特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词或词组+一般疑问句(Had+主语+过去分词)?

⑥ 被动语态:主语+had(hadn\'t)+been+过去分词

基本用法

1.表示在过去某一时刻或动作以前完成了的动作,也可以说过去的时间关于过去的动作。即“过去的过去”。

例如: By nine o’clock last night, we had gotten 200 pictures from the spaceship.

By noon yesterday, they had completed the job.

2.当我们谈论过去的两个动作,先前的就用过去完成时

例如: Elsa dried her hair.She had already washed it.信号词:

1. by +过去的时间状语

2. by the end of +过去的时间状语 3. Just/already 4. 定语从句

She found the key that she had lost.8.宾语从句中

She said that she had seen the film before 9.时间状语从句中 when before

after by the time When I arrived home, my mother had finished cooking.After he had finished his homework, he went to bed.Before he went to bed, he had finished his homework.10.根据上下文判断

I met him yesterday, I hadn’t seen since he went to Beijing.I met him yesterday, I hadn’t seen him for a long time.I didn’t see the film yesterday, because I had seen it before.比较:I won’t see the film tomorrow, because I have seen it before.

Writing : Describing a place(描述一个地方) 当我们在向他人介绍一个地方(如旅游景点、著名城市时,可以从如下几点入手: 1. 总体介绍这个地方.如:I would like to tell you about a place called….2. 详细描述这个地方。如: …is a marvelous place.You can see a lot of …., such as….You can also….3. 给出参观这地方的费用 如: it doesn’t cost much to visit…, about …yuan./ If you want to pay a visit to …, you will need to pay….for the entrance fee.

4. 给出到达这地方的交通方式如:you can take…there./ Take the underground to …, then….5. 简单进行小结如:I’m sure you will have a good time there./ It’s certain that you would enjoy a trip.练习写作
