Next listen to the following paragraphs, check five True or False questions.(1)Sally heard a loud noise when she was Sleeping.(T);(2)When the bear saw us, it went back into the forest.(F);(3)Sally took a cable car up Mount Tianzi.(T);(4).Dongting Lake is the largest fresh water lake.(F);(5).Form the top, they had a wonderful view of the lakes and forests.(F)

设计意图:由于课文内容长,将课文分为两部分来听,让全班同学听第一段的录音后回答问题,然后听后面两段,再完成精心设计的True or False问题.这样缓解学生听的难度外,还可以帮助学生理解文章的大意。

分组仔细阅读。完成书本活动

将全班同学分成6小组,专家组每组抽取一段课文的阅读材料,进行仔细阅读。而挑战组则让学生自己编写问题和答案,问题的设计要源于课文,同时也要高于课文,每组以能准确答和问为基准得分。(如果学生基础好的话,可以增加课外的阅读材料,让学生在课堂上阅读,教师可先设计好若干问题帮助学生理解和Para2,Questions:

3.Where can you stay?

4.What animals can you see?

设计意图:本活动所设计的问题有些不是在原文中的现成答案,而是需要读者在理解全文的基础上通过思考得出来的,因此可以培养学生在阅读中的分析、归纳的能力。在活动中,既要重视语言输入也要重视语言输出。在完成活动时要给学生充足的阅读和思考时间。

3.Retelling

Using the given information about Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area in part6.

设计意图:本活动所设计的目的是让学生进一步熟悉课文内容,并用课文所提供的information将课文内容进行复述。

Ask the students “Is it right to pull a leaf off a plant?” Then discu what we should do and what we shouldn’t do when we are visiting a place of interest.

After they finish discuing, show them some guide’s tips and tell them we should get on well with the nature.
