英语公开课教学设计 西宁市国际村小学 姜育红
一、教学内容：
新标准英语(一起)五年级上册Reading for pleasure 《The Elves and the Shoemaker》.教材分析：本节课是新标准英语(一起)五年级上册中的一堂英语阅读课，通过这堂课让学生学习小精灵与鞋匠的故事的同时，增强学生的感恩意识，进一步提高学生学习和使用英语的兴趣。
二、教学设计：
英语作为一种交际性语言，其地位众所周知。而阅读是语言学习的重要方面之一，所以阅读既要合理同时又要科学，通过阅读，主体的感知、理解、评价、创造是十分重要和必不可少的。本课是Reading（精读课），按照英语新课程标准的要求，这堂课应当是“以任务贯穿读、听、说的活动，让学生通过‘感知－概括－应用’的思维来增长知识，发展技能”。
基于此，我教学设计的落脚点有二：
1.学生通过阅读学习，有助于提高学生的阅读技能和自主学习技能。2.通过阅读进行语音、单词、短语和句子处理；通过阅读进行意义建构，在与文本相互作用的过程中，在理解、思辨的过程中培养学生的语言输出技能，即说话技能和写话技能。
三、教学目标：
（一）知识目标
1．能听、说、读、写单词elves(elf的复数形式)、shoemaker、poor、money、leather.2.掌握下列单词和短语：There was（There is）、one piece of、one pair of、go to bed、come into、want to.3．能对故事内容进行提问和回答。
5．正确理解和朗读短文内容，能运用动词的过去时态讲述一个故事
（二）技能目标
1.能初步掌握在短文中划找信息和新知的阅读方法。 2.能对故事内容进行复述。
（三）情感目标
教育学生要善于帮助别人，要有一颗感恩之心，懂得回报！
四、教学重点和难点：
1．阅读方法与技巧引导和渗透。 2．正确理解短文内容，能够复述故事。
五、课前准备：
多媒体课件，单词、短语卡片，
六、教学过程： Step 1.Pre-reading 1.Greetings and introduction.问候学生，进行教师的自我介绍。
（通过轻松愉快的真实交流，建立了融洽的师生交流渠道，为教学 2 作了铺垫。） 2.Leading-in导入

You can tell me in English or Chinese.3.New story: T: Today I want to tell you an very interest story, We’ll read it first, then I want you to tell me what story it is.Please look at the pictures.Can you gue? “What is the story about?”

1.Reading and iscuion（讨论）
Read the story in pairs.Underline the difficult words、phrases or sentences, then discu in group.2.Read and choose(读一读，选一选): 给出四个问题，课件提示学生快速阅读文章,选出答案。只找出需要的信息，其它信息迅速跳过。
（设计意图：通过问题引导学生进入第一次阅读，给学生相关阅读提示，培养学生的阅读方法，渗透学法指导。）
3 2.Scanning （扫读）
a、Read and underline the answers: 提出了五个问题，请学生按问题所在的图片依次朗读，逐步找出问题的答案，并用笔划出来。 b、Answer the questions.C、Retell the story.（设计意图：引导学生顺着主线，展开对文本的研读，边读边划出关键词或句子，培养学生“抓重点”、根据问题来捕捉有用信息等阅读技能。）
