1、there be句型的主语一般是泛指的，不可用the, this, that, these, those及所有格代词修饰。 be动词采用“就近一致原则”。
2、be动词可用以下词替代：
1）不及物动词（appear, continue, happen, seem等）+ to be + n.There appears to be something wrong with the engine.
2）表示静态的动词（belong, exist, lie, live, remain, stand）
