第二课时教学设计
一、教学目标与要求
1．能够根据Group and write的配图用英语描述学生们准备欢送会的场面。
2．能够听懂Listen and write部分的录音并正确填写句子。
3．能够听懂、会唱歌曲“We’re Going Back”。
4．能理解、会跟录音说Pronunciation部分的绕口令。
二、教学重、难点分析
1．本课时的教学重点是用“there be结构”描述欢送会场、听Listen and write部分的录音填充句子，并能跟读、试读Pronunciation部分的绕口令。

三、课前准备
1．教师准备录音机及相关录音带。
2．教师准备Group and write部分和五年级上册第
五、六单元主情景图部分的教学挂图。
3．教师准备欢送会用品的单词卡片。
4．学生准备英汉词典。
四、教学步骤和建议
1．热身（Warm-up）
（1）教师出示五年级上册第五或第六单元的主情景图，提示学生用“there be句型”描述主情景图中的场景。
（2）教师出示欢送会用品的单词卡片，如水果、饮料、照相机等，上面覆盖一张镂空的铅画纸，让学生猜是什么物品并拼读。
2．预习（Preview）
（1）教师放Let’s read（P62）部分的对话，学生跟读。
（2）教师展示一部分学生制作的英语请柬，并请制作者上讲台朗读请柬内容。教师根据请柬内容说几个句子让学生判断对错，如：“The
thfarewell party will be on June 25．”学生迅速做手势说“That’s right!”或
“That’s wrong!”教师也可以就请柬内容提出问题，让学生回答。
Pronunciation
教师出示Pronunciation部分的教学挂图，在部分单词的元音或字母组合下画线，提示学生注意其发音，如：，，，，，，，，，。学生分小组用五分钟的时间查一查绕口令里出现的新词，师生一起讨论绕口令的内容。然后教师放录音，学生认真听。再放两遍录音，学生跟读。最后学生分小组试读绕口令。
3．新课呈现（Presentation）
Group and write
（1）教师说：“The farewell party is coming．We made invitations．So we can invite our parents and teachers to the party．We made a performance plan．So we can give performances at the party．What else shall we do? What things can we bring to the party?”启发学生说出尽可能多的可带物品以及
欢送会前应做的准备工作。
（2）教师请学生看Group and write部分的挂图，四人为一小组，做单词分类连线题。其中个别单词如“plan”“decorate”等可让学生查英汉词典了解词义。比一比哪个小组做得又快又准确。
（3）教师在挂图上连线做示范，让学生仔细看图，延续图下的示范语言描述教室的场景，如：What a beautiful claroom! There are some balloons in it．There is a camera on the desk．There are some gifts, too„．
（4）学生四人一组进行讨论，口头描述教室的场景，教师轻声放Let’s sing部分的歌曲“We’re Going Back”作为音乐背景。
（5）学生分组完成书面练习，教师巡视进行指导，然后请部分学生朗读，看哪组学生写得内容丰富、语言又准确。
Listen and write
（1）教师放Listen and write的录音，第一遍学生认真听，第二遍学生边听边填空。
录音内容如下：

（2）教师鼓励学生即兴创作，编写歌谣在欢送会中吟唱。例如，可以将录音中“Goodbye / goodbye to„”后的名称替换为好朋友的姓名。还可以替换成为各任课教师，如：“It’s time to say goodbye to our school．It’s time to say goodbye to my friends．Goodbye to my Chinese teacher．Goodbye to my math teacher．Goodbye to my art teacher．Goodbye to my dear friends．It’s time to say goodbye to our school．It’s time to say goodbye to my friends．I studied hard, I learned English/I played games．Goodbye to my dear friends„．”
Let’s sing
（1）教师放Let’s sing部分的录音“We’re Going Back”，师生齐唱歌曲。
（2）如果时间许可并且学生感兴趣，教师可以教唱歌曲“Auld Lang Syne（友谊地久天长）。”
4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）
（1）学生做本单元的活动手册配套练习。
（2）学生听Listen and write，Let’s read和Let’s sing部分的录音，读或唱给家长、同伴听。
（3）学生背诵并抄写四会单词和句子。
