I\'m very happy to have this opportunity to introduce a kind of new materials called conductive inkjet.(导电喷墨)

Printed electronics technology is based on the principle of printed electronics manufacturing technologies.In the past 50 years, the silicon-based semiconductor microelectronics occupied the absolute dominance of electronic technology.However, due to the increasing complexity of silicon-based integrated circuit manufacturing technology and the huge investments needed, silicon-based integrated circuit manufacturing complete monopoly in the hands of a few large companies worldwide.So, for the past 10 years in the solution of organic and inorganic semiconductor materials research and development, gave birth to the manufacture of various exploration and research of electronic devices using conventional printing techniques.The organic solution of an inorganic semiconductor material and the greatest feature is that they do not depend on the nature of the conductor or semiconductor substrate material can be deposited to form a thin film on any material.Evaporation means can be deposited, spin-coating or printing.And Inkjet is a common example in today’s science.

Inkjet inks are generally electrically conductive water-based or alcohol-based ink having a silver nano-particle component, a solvent (water or alcohol), a surfactant, a dispersion stabilizer and other additives.We can see a kind of Production proce in this pic (show the main pic of production) 这里指的是幻灯片中连续的那幅图

We are so glad to introduce the glamorous application of inkjet to all of you .Ink-jet printing method is expected as a mild proce.On the one hand, it can achieve the thickne of the conductive layer proceing and precision control of the image.On the other hand, it can be developed in a low temperature proce on board of different substrates.Another application is the direction of the conductive ink-jet surface treatment and finishing products, including print designs, trademarks and text introduction.Not only in the visual aspect, the conductive ink can be developed in the future functional switches or electrodes.

We can’t deny some drawbacks of the new technology.British researchers pointed out that conductive ink has more resistance compared with the traditional materials , which means that it can not efficiently transmit a very strong current.Therefore, chemical plating and electroplating in future have to face such difficulty.At the same time, it can be really difficult for inkjet manufacturing operation to engage in intelligent circuit , because the ink is impoible to use the same intensive manufacturing method of the silicon circuitry.Imagine this, if we want to make a calculator, it will need a volume of conductive ink.Absolutely, it is not a wise idea!

To draw a conclusion, we are talking about the development and advantages of the conductive inkjet, and we also pointed the short of it.As far as we know, out school has the major in the inkjet.Everyone who has the ambitions can have a try fellowed dr.Weijie.
